Floriday was launched in 2017 with the primary objective of reshaping the future of the floriculture industry and creating new opportunities for our growers. The platform serves as a single marketplace for all growers and provides solutions for seamless stock management, optimum distribution, access to multiple sales channels, and new sales opportunities. As a smart platform in every sense of the word, Floriday efficiently matches supply and demand like no other system of its kind.

2018: Connect
Where Floriday was concerned, 2018 was all about ‘connecting’. This was exemplified, among other things, by the more 1,200 new users who joined the platform during the year, representing one-quarter of all our members. We also added several new features to Floriday, which many growers were able to use right away. Effective collaboration by a multidisciplinary team comprised of employees of Royal FloraHolland and JEM-id made sure the digital marketplace could be further developed, rapidly and successfully.

2019: Growth
The keyword for the current year, 2019, is ‘Growth’. We are focusing on a growing range of strong functionalities and applications through the platform. We are also involved in increasing potential purchasing power through Floriday by integrating the auction transactions and improving international opportunities. Our aim is to increase the number of members who join the platform. If we can count on the commitment of all parties involved, we are ready to continue to successfully develop Floriday in 2019.
